Cape Town

Cape Town

Cape Town, the mother of South Africa’s cities, will embrace you with a unique fusion of culture and cuisine. Home to the monumental Table Mountain, award-winning wine farms, beaches and a Mediterranean climate, not to mention it is also one of the gourmet capitals of the world. So get ready to have each and every one of your sixth senses ignited.
OVERVIEW

Where is Cape Town? The city lies on the southern tip of South Africa in the Western Cape province. What we love most about this metropolis has to be its unique character. It is a large city with almost 4 million inhabitants, but still feels like a quaint little town on the slopes of Table Mountain. From the top of this famous landmark you can see almost everything the city has to offer; beautiful beaches (Clifton & Camps Bay), trendy suburbs (City Bowl), a small bustling downtown area and the ocean right on your doorstep.

Dive deeper into the ‘Mother City’ life and you will explore exquisite cuisine, beautiful wine farms, a buzzing nightlife, a plethora of outdoor activities and even shopping at the V&A Waterfront. Don’t miss the otherworldly Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens close to the beautiful University of Cape Town or a walk on the Sea Point Promenade. Oh, and also: while we know that the city was in the international news over the last years for its drought and a fast-approaching Cape Town Day Zero, the Cape Town water crisis is officially over. It has rained sufficiently this winter (2019) and the dams are full again, so you can enjoy Cape Town weather to the fullest!
